Green grass, grazing cows, church bells in the distance and the endless grunting and screaming… It’s called Metal Méan. This annual festival is the highlight of the year for fans of the Metal scene. Since 2005 the festival has been providing us with great names such as Destruction, Grave, Enthroned, Finntroll, Belphegor and Taake.
Unlike last year this edition took place over a period of two days. On Friday there was an AC/DC cover band, followed by a party and Saturday the real festival began, including a short contest between four young bands.
I packed my tent and my sleeping bag, although I knew there wouldn’t be much sleeping, and headed to the little peaceful village of Méan.

After an excellent show at Deathcore Fullforce, we emailed Crimson Falls some questions which they happily answered. We asked them about their live-reputation, line-up changes and goals for the future.

Fueled Mag: On your myspace, you say that you have an excellent live-reputation. How do you think you earned that reputation and what do you think are the aspects of a great live-performance? Wim: I think we mainly earned it because of our hard work. We play as many shows as we can and we always give it a 100% of our energy. We've also been searching a very long time for the perfect sound. Apart from that we believe in mutual respect. We respect our fans to the fullest and they return it to us. Also, being dynamic on stage is very important if you want to get proper feedback from the crowd.
